Does anyone run Engine Ice coolant? I wanted to hear some people's opinions of it. Thanks.

i hear it works good. its not actually an antifreeze though i dont think so u would hav to drain it if the temp outside got too cold. i use distilled water and dexcool.

I use water wetter and water in mine and i drain it in the winter to keep it from freezing. It is supposed to drop your temp 10 degrees. it does not have the lubrication that radiator fluid has though so you might want to mix some anti-freeze with it too to help lubricate things. It may help with the feezing problem too if you use enough.

I use engine ice and it works great! my R used to over heat when I ran it really hard, but since switching to engine ice it hasn't over heated. as far as freezing, I have a bottle in the garage(that has no heat)and it hasn't frozen yet and it has been down in the teens for a good part of the winter.

ok.. Jim Jones(Jeremiah's Dad/mech)uses %80 water, a little bit of antifreeze and some Red Line water wetter supercoolant. He said the engine runs bout 10-15 deg cooler. I would guess like maybe %5 antifreeze, but the article did not say exact amounts of anti and wetter like i thought.. someone smarter feel free to chime in.
