300 4x4 please help

I have a 300 4x4 kawasaki that needs some tuning. Does anyone know where to start? I want it to be funner to ride. It is stock and I would like to wake it up just a little.

i think supertrapp makes an exhaust for it and you can get a white brothers air filter and e-jet the carb. that should wake it up a little
