Has anyone experianced their battery running dead once additional lights or higher wattage bulbs are put on their bike? I hear yamaha rates the stator on the yfz450 @ a palsy 114watts, which in reality only puts out about 75 total watts period! No wonder these things die when any extra load is put on them. I heard that at the ATV show this weekend that KMS( the turbo quad company) has a stator upgrade kit they will be releasing that puts out a whooping 250 watts @ 3000rpms. Thats enough to run some serious aftermarket electronics and lighting- does anyone have this kit yet and if so how do you like it?

Try trail tech for a new stator.
Or just get the kick start kit.
