I have a 350X engine that has a huge Powroll 452 kit. 13:1 high compression piston, heavy duty cam chain, port and polish and lightened flywheel. Built professionally. Engine has been used in a 250x/300ex frame, so all the conversion stuff is available with it. The exhaust header pipe for a 250x/300ex conversion is available as well. Also have the FCR carb from Powroll that is set-up for this big bore for sale seperatly. Price this stuff on www.powroll.com, its not cheap. Header = 356.00, carb = 600.00
Make me an offer on all or some of it.

Word of warning - if your thinking about the engine you better not be a "wee little lad" for two reasons. 1 - you need some lead in your pants to kick that thing over. 2 - once you get it started you got to be able to hang on to it, its a torque monster.

NO joke, those things have MAJOR compression! Jason Luburgh used to race a TC built 350x motor and he broke his shin bone when his foot slipped off the kicker. BE CAREFUL with it

where are you located? how old is the motor? is it due for a freshening?

I have had the engine for about a year. I raced it in two TT nationals last year and a handfull of local flattrack races. I bought the whole machine from a buddy of mine who only rode it a couple of times. The guy he bought it from is the one who had the engine built and put the whole conversion together. He raced it one season. So one season from the original, couple of rides from my buddy and 5-6 races from me. I don't know how fresh you would consider that but the motor is plenty strong to me. Here is a snapshot. Greenbrier, AR - TT nationals last year. Vet 30 class. The holeshot staightaway is a little over 350 feet long. This quad was third into the first turn, behind a pro-am rider on a crf hybrid and a yfz450. I pulled Rich Hetrick on his tricked out 310R. He was fourth into the turn. There were 12-13 in the class. I stayed in third until the second lap when I broke a throttle extension and it lodged under the hand grip. -- Who knows how I would have finished but I was pretty happy with the start.

I'm located in SW Missouri.

You'll be alright if you throw a 50 pound sack of dog food over your shoulder while you kick it.:blah:

are you sure that it's a 452 Kit because if you bore out a 350x out about .180 it can only become a 418, unless you found a stroker rod, Just wondering if there is a kit out there thats common

oh and a 13:1 compression, Don't try starting that baby without a riding boot on, it fing hurts your shin or ankle may pay

$1500 for the whole setup - engine, headpipe, carb, coil, cdi and wiring harness. I'm open to offers on individual items.

To make things clear you don't have to be the "Hulk" to start this thing - but "PeeWee Herman" might need some help. I've started it in sandals several times - its all in the technique. Boots and a big lard ***** sure do make it easier.

I'm going by what the guy said on the displacement. I think its a 86mm piston and rest is stroke. I would like to verify the displacement myself - anyone know of an easy method - even if its only approximate.

you can make 452cc on bore only, that would be a 92mm piston. if its a 86mm piston, then the stroke would need to be 78mm. thats a 10mm stroke for the 350x.

any pictures?

bstuart,

How much for just the motor? I have a very nice 350X trike that needs a big bore motor. Let me know ASAP.

Thanks,
Doug
