gear size

i wanted to get new sprockets but don't know what size to go.....I pretty much just go on trails and through strip mines. i do alot of mudding. I don't ever race but i have it cranking when i am riding hills.


i just wantedto see what you guys are running.... by the way i have a 98 300ex

I run a 13 front and 36 back they do really good on trails and track

I have a Z and run stock front(14) and just put a 38 rear on it from a 40. I noticed more top end like i should and only lost a little bit of bottom end. When my gearing was stock i raced a 05 KFX400 and i have a 04 and i lost by 2 quad lengths now we r dead even. if u go to www.bluetraxx.com they have a gearing caculator u can use.It said i would b able to do 71.
