I've got my tires on my rims, but they dont want to get anywhere close to holding air or getting to the bead, their is just air comming out from under the tire when I try to put air in, what should I do? By the way the tire is like 2 inches away from the bead. thanks for the help

try puttin a ratchet tiedown around the outter diameter of the tire and then put air in it? that should make the sidewalls flex out to the edge of the rim.

try putting some soapy water on the bead

If you absolutely must....

spray starting fluid in the tire
back up
throw something on fire towards it

boom ,,, seated beads

or trip to emergency room.

don't try this at home:devil:

Tire spoons or large screwdrivers.

Pry them on.

The tie down works real good, but the starting fluid is always more exciting:devil:

Nitro Glyserine gives best results everytime.

Make sure the tire and the wheel are properly cleaned and use soapy water

the starting fluid would only work good if it was cold out. but either way that would be fun. if you can help it try hard not to use big screwdrivers. they can damage the bead easily and even the rim. you will have to change tires again in the futer so why not buy tire irons and do it right the first time and all the other times. ive heard the tie down think works really well every time. also maybe go to autozone and find some bead sealer before you pop them on all the way jsut to make the air hold a little better.

Starting fluid will work when its 90 degrees outside, Ive done it in a feild at LBL in July before,,,,sometimes its about the only way to get a tire up on the rim.

if you have a air compressor.. jack the pressure all the way up, push the tires to where they are close to the beads, shoot a blast of air between the bead of the tire and the lip of the rim, and it should seal.. its how i do mine and i havent had a issue with it yet!

i have done the starting fluid thing.. if you do that, dont go nuts with it, or youll waste your tire, just shoot a little on the bead, light it (from a distance if you can) expect a boom, then once they are seated, fill with air lol
