What atv to get

Hi, I was wondering which used atv i should get. They are both the same price. One is a 03' 400ex with a DG exhaust, jet kit, k&n, nerfs, dg bumper, swingarm skidplate, and black plastics. The other is an 03' z400 that is white and bone stock. I think the ex has gone through more abuse than the z. I was leaning toward the z beacause of its reverse, power, and looks, but i read reveiws that said that they are nothing but trouble. Then, I thought about the Honda reliability. I will be mainly trail riding and going through some mud etc and a little bit of jumping. Can soemone please help me with this?!?!?!?! Thanx

I Have an 04 Z400 and ive never had any problems with it. i would reccomend one to anyone.The 03 i have herd of some problems with the frame cracking.

yea thats what i heard too......when i go back to the dealer im gonna inspect the **** out of it and ask questions like crazy.

ive have taken 400ex's modded about the same but with a yosh pipe in a drag on my bone stock z. they are both good bikes and 400ex's are durable but i havent been able to kill my z yet either. i would get the z if the frame is in good shape, then imediatly call bare performance and get the frame gusseted.

o get a 250R a real quad. those 400s are good and everything for trail riding but a 250 is a race bike.

Get the Z you'll love it. I just got mine and it is great.
