I dont really know, doesnt sound bad to me, When i got my quad i took it easy for like 30 mins, then just rode it how i wanted, i had never owned a full size quad before though so i wasnt hard on it thats for sure. and my quad runs great!

Me too. I rode it good and hard, after it warmed up. I blipped the throttle a few times during warm up and then rode it pretty hard. Runs awesome.

i use that dyno method. the 530 has not even seen the dirt yet and was broken in on the dyno with less than 15 minutes on the new engine.:D

you want to put loads on your engine during break in you need to seat those rings. Make sure you use conventional oil (not synthetic) for the first couple changes.

Also Make sure you change your oil and filter shorlty your initial few break in rides because the new engine will have alot of shavings and debris in it, which will need to be cycled out.
