Leaking Gas?

I just got a 99 400 and when I stood it up to look at the underside it was leaking gas like no other. Was this just because I had the fuel on or is something wrong with the carb?

Where was the gas coming from?

if it was on the bar its supposed to do that. next time turn the gas off first then do it and a small amount will dribble out. that i sjust the fuel from the float bowl of your carb.

Thanks for the input. I had it resting on the bar. Would it continue to flow from the tank with the fuel on normally?
