Hi
I want to know if I turn out (to the left) the mixture screw on my 400ex stock carb, does my carb will be richer (or leaner)?
I don't find this anwser in the manual Owner.

if you turn the screw clockwise (to the right) that makes it run leaner, counter clockwise makes it richer

mixture screw i believe is idle - 1/8th throttle

the mixture screw plays the largest role at idle and tapers away after that. some consider it to work up too 1/4 throttle others say is stops near 1/8 throttle. i find the largest difference to be made below 1/8 throttle.
