Grinding Welds???????

im just hearing of grinding welds on the stock header?? where r these welds at and whats grinding them do? im not supid i mean i realize that it probably is less restrictive but ive never seen these exact welds cause ive never had the stocker off so im curious as to where these are and exactly what to grind and how much this may or may not help?:macho :macho :macho

I did it to crip_coast's 400ex , Took about 2 hours and i ruined about 3 dremel bits.
Didn't make a huge diffrence , but who cares , its free. (other than the dremels :( )

You first think.... Big Deal! Just a little weld bead! But when you're done, you'll notice that the pipe is quite a bit larger in diameter! Works great too. I did that and some of Gabes pipe mods..... BIG DIFFERENCE! It revs more freely now!

I'm sure that it could possibly help on top end, but wouldn't you lose some bottom end because of the decrease in back pressure?
