I have a set of front pep zps triple rate shocks for my 400ex and I want to know if theyll fit my yfz450?Will the valving and geometry be close?

Don't even try it. The valving from a 400EX to a YFZ is a WHOLE lot different. The angle of the shocks alone would throw it off.

Several Pros in the Missouri Hare Scramble Series are running there 400ex shocks on there YFZ's they seem to work great. I have some 400ex Axis on my YFZ right now as well. I will let you know how they work. They should be fine. Just have to put spacers in the top. I am also running 4-1 offset wheels. I have heard they work great though.

Sorry if the post came off kinda mean, long day lol. I'd try them, I'm guilty of using YFZ shocks on my 400ex  You might have to shave a little off the bushings, but if they'll go on they might work out for you. I wouldn't recommend using them long term though, might mess something up.

The valving on mine is fine from my 400ex but keep in mind I run 4-1 offset wheels so that makes a difference.
