Gasket question

I've got a 440 and am wondering if i can run a OEM gasket or if i need to go get a gasket from a 440 provider i.e. weisco,ct,tc, or whoever. And to clairify things it would be the base gasket that i need right? Since the gasket that is blown is the gaskets located underneath the exhaust ports.

you need the head gasket, not the base gasket. i would get on made for the 440. you can run a stock one but i wouldn't. call C&D, they will hook you up with what you need. you can get different thicknesses to adjust compression ratios too.
