at parts direct they said raise my needle one clip so i took my needle out and raised it up the needle but it doesnt seem right ot me it seems like i just droppedthe needle farther in the bowl shouldnt i have lowered it to get it out of the bowl some or how does the needle work?

raise your needle means lower the clip, making it richer...
raising the clip means lowering the needle, making it leaner...
I think you need to lower the clip/raise the needle

yes, if you have performance mods on the bike there is a good chance you need to lower the needle clip one position

i had the clip in the in the stock middle position and i moved it up lowering the needle.so r u telling me i should have moved it down one raising the needle?

this is what i think i did
Lift needle 1 clip position
so i moved it from the stock position to the second from the top

it says to lift needle clip one position so i moved it from the middle slot to the second one from the top so i did it right? or not?

no you have to go the other way.lookat the needle and go down.this will RAISE it.u feel me?

is there a trick to get the needle clip off last time i did it i bent it a little bit but got it straight

no, move the clip down 2, I usually just use needle nose pliers to get it off.
