last night, Rusty Palmer's, a honda/suzuki/yamaha/arctic cat/harley/etc..dealership burned to the ground following a fire that started in their service garage. the garage and showroom,as well as offices, were destroyed. i believe that their warehouse was saved. i am not certain though. the dealership was located outside of Honesdale, pennsylvania on route 6.
i cant believe that the place didnt have a sprinkler system. there had to be over 300 different machines:eek2: in there what a sad waste

maybe you could buy an atv that was hurt but not that bad for pretty cheap and fix it up that would be awesome

More than likely if it burnt to the ground any and all aluminum on anything would be a dried puddle on the ground now.

If you ever seen what a fire does to tractors, cars, atv's etc there isnt much that gets saved.

It was just a meth lab with a nice quad-themed decor.:p

I heard that someone had a high dollar Roll Design/Elka equipped 250R at Rusty's for service. I'm not sure if it was lost in the fire, but I was told that Rusty's insurance won't cover it(or any other of the machines in for service), and that it is up to the individual to claim it on their own insurance. I feel sorry for all those people if that is true.

It certainly will be rebuilt. It was mostly made of steel beams I believe, and while the structural damage was great, it could have been much worse.

Rusty is down in Florida (the owner) and has already vowed it will be rebuilt. The place has been in business for over 30 years, and hopefully will continue to be.
