trying to decide. not doing any racing, but lots of sliding and jumping

was leaning towards the black Albas, but not sure how it'd look with yellow plastic

any help/thoughts is appreciated.

also S10/tacoma/ranger/colorado owners do your nerfs rub on the wheel wells?

I'm saving up for some AC's with the slight kick up to them. I'm not sure what they're called... maybe the propeg? I need a little help about those too

i've had ac on everyone of my quads and im vey happy with them. on my z400 i have the propegs and they are really nice. but with my 400ex i decided to go with the standard ones so incase i ever wanted to put ims pegs on there i would be able to. ac is the way to go. hope this helps

I've ran AC standard nerf bars on all the quads i've owned and they work fine for me. I haven't heard anything about the alba's so i'm not sure there. But in my opinion ac's are the way to go simple to mount and good looks.

I run with pro armor nerfs with the heal guards. Love them and they are very sturdy.

AC nerfs with IMS pegs with kick ups and IMS heel guards, very nice and feels like you got something under your feet, very comfortable.

i recomend either x-factor pro pegs or standard nerfs. They seem to be very strong.

Mine are gibsons, but there real similar to x factors same pegs. X factors are angled by the front wheel and are supposed to have stronger footpeg mounts.

My gibson footpeg mount were like this \ instead of - after awhile. But I had new ones made.

If you already have roll design pegs just get some of the ac nerfs to go with them. Thats an even better setup but its another 100 dollars.

The quick change cover is nice when your having a problem, it sure is nice buying a 10 dollar gasket everytime you need in there. Only bad thing is I had to quit using my hydraulic clutch beacuse I couldnt find a xr 400 that would fit with it. You haveto use a xr clutch mount and a cable.

I have DG"s and they are so-so,I would much rather have AC's with full plating.

I prefer my own design :D

I don't like nets hold to much mud on a long xc race.

i personally prefer the regular nerfs, and the pro armor ones, but i've ridden the ac pro pegs, and they are very solid and good... decent price range also
