lt 400ex shocks, will they work on 450r

hey guys i have a set of pep long travel front shocks for my 426ex. i am thinking of getting a 450r and wanted to know if my shocks would work. i know that i will have to get them rebuilt and revalved. thanks

I had Elka front shocks, and I was told they would be too short, so I sold them. The R will need 20" shocks.

I ran my elka triple rates standard travel that where on my 400ex on my 450r with stock a arms and they worked better then the stock shocks but they were to short, but still worked and i had people say they wouldnt work at all.So the best thing to do would be to try them out and if they dont work sell them and buy shocks for the 450r.
