NO pop ups here. Get a good pop-up blocker and it will solve all your pop up problems and all the sites you visit.

even something like the google toolbar wich is free does a perfect job. but your going to have to get to the source of the pop-ups. Your computer is infected, download ad-aware and search your comp with that and fix everything vital it brings up, make sure when its done scanning you select all of the things it brings up. chances are your computer wont be fixed by just adaware. Let me know how ur computer does after ad-aware and ill help you get it good again....

yup, heres what you do:

1. get an antivirus, good one! Personally I just bit the bullet and bought norton system works and it has so many tools to help make your computer run faster its definitely worth it.
2. after you have 1 done go download limewire or something like that.
3. Download lavasoft ad ware, spybot search and destroy
4. get rid of all the useless programs that are running on the system tray. Do that my typing in msconfig in the run command and go to start up and get rid of the programs you don't use.
5. disk defrag

Definitely added more than what was neccesary but I think it can help a lot of people out to get their machines running about like new.

any anti virus is great. as long as you HAVE one, be sure to update.

i Agree with downloading adaware, but if you use spybot be carefull what gets removed i have worked on too many computers latly that they installed and ran spybot and removed EVERYTHING that was found and then the system would not boot. just to help out you can get adaware sraight from lavasoft (http://www.lavasoftusa.com). another site to help out is spyware guide (http://www.spywareguide.com) that site has a free online scan. you can run and repair any thing it finds.

good luck
