Any other trikers here? I just started m 86 350x restore

I just started a restore on my 86 350x, and it needs alot of work. its almost stripped down the frame. I have the annoying stuck front axle bolt and rusted up header bolts the deal with, but the swinger wasn't stuck, which I figured for sure was. I'm gonna have some pics up soon on my progess.

i use to have a few 200x's trikes dont intrest me too much anymore hard to get alot of parts anymore unless your into restoring them

I have most of the stuff off the frame already, I gotta sledge the axle out and then my next obsticle is the rusted header bolts, I test fitted 250r rear brakes already and got them setup to work on it, I gotta cut one tab off the swinger, then swinger comes out, forks with the tripples and then I bring the frame the motor in it to my friends shop to get the header nuts off.

I found lots of nice stuff, duct tape instead of a hose clamp on the carb, a few small cracks, frozen calipers, rusted brake hub and the motor makes a noise like the valves are horrilby loose(that a whole another game there), also rear shock is blown, bad front wheel bearings.

yeah she looks alittle rough. it makes me sick to see that someone treated it like crap. oh well at least you are going to do something with it

I'm going to freshen mine up as soon as it gets warm. Not a rebuild, just PC the frame, service the shock and replace some things while I can still get them new OEM.

more fun, the carrier is impossible to get out of the swinger, there isn't much left of the stock carrier after beating it for a hour with a hammer, now I'm gonna have to have it pressed out, there isn't too much suprises left(well except for the motor), the axle came out with not much problem, I know the swingarm bearings are gonna a nightmare, so those will get pressed out too.
