I recently had my r in shop so that they could adjust my valves and check over my cam installation. I knew the valves were off and didnt feel like messin with it so i took it to them. Anyways they said they were way off and that you should check them ever 100 hours or less. The point i am trying to make here is that i know most people dont even check there valves ever 200 hours like it calls for. Honda said that the valves just get beat up into the head so hard that they need to be checked pretty often. So if you dont want your r to run like **** in about a year or 2 you might wanna check them. Wouldnt want to see them nice 450's start going downhill.
