I'm setting my bike up for GNCC racing and harescrambles, and I need your guys opinion, what do I need next? Please let me know what you think. Also please post pics of your bikes so that I can see yours. They don't have to be set up for cross country.

and yea I was thinking about the motor next, I think that i am going with the yoshimura 450kit. Is that a good kit, any one know anything about them?

The z has been my dream quad since it came out..and now my first quad i got this year is a completeley stock 2003 Z

I'm proud of it my self..i smoke all my friends quads..they all have utility or mostly polaris scramblers and trailblazers..one 400ex

none ofem beat me now

But god u all have awesome quads...im savin my money up for some stuff to make it faster....

I would not go with the 470. It is to far into the cooling slots in the head. I would go with the 453 it has less chance of leaking prescious coolant!!! I have the 453 and had port and polish done and put Web Cams (PN: 70-592) Kehnin 41mm Flat slide and it is awsome. I rode with a guy that had the 470 and I coulod blow him away. He rode mine and said the same thing. It is a combination of alot of small things that make a bike fast. You can not just do a little and expect alot. it takes all of the parts to compliment each other and make the bike fast. I race hare scrambles in the FTR ( Florida Trail Riders ) www.ftr.org and it is awsome. I have only raced 1 race this year but put on a good season last year. I am in no danger of winning in the sand bagger class but I like to race. Especially since I am 40 and racing with a bunch of 16 to 18 year olds. There are usually 60 bikes in the start line of my class and I will always beat them into the woods. Just dont have the stamina to keep it up. Enjoy your ride man!!
