[300ex1987]

i just bought my 300ex for 1500 and want to make it da bomb. i have a wright bros full silencer exhaust. k&n airfirlter, razors all around. jet kit. I either want to swap the engine or redo the engine. i don;t have to much money to spend. I wanted to bore it out but i only saw a kit for 40over. i want this thing to haul a@@. i only go trail riding and sum jumps. mostly hill climbing. i was thinking of a racing cam and axles. but i can't find any good dealers

for about 1500 bucks you can go from the stock 282 cc to 350. www.gthunder.com i dont know if its on his site, but the phone number is there, you can call and ask about it.

also dont beleive all the hype, a 330 kit wont cost you 300 bucks. thats nothing but a piston and sleeve, if your lucky, it might come with a cam. if your gonna beef up your motor, you need a new good clutch, if your in the motor, you really should port it otherwise you probably wont tell much of a difference. for a bigger motor you'll also want a bigger carb, you can get one off a 400ex for about 75 or less. if you really want it to as reliable as possible, slit the cases and put in a heavy duty rod. and heavy duty valve springs are required on most good agreesive cams also
