Ok, I know this is wrong site, but I just got the cycle and I'm currently looking for a good forum like this one based on motorcycles...

I have a 1982 Suzuki GS850L (inline 4-cylinder cruiser/tourer style bike). I am going to remove the stock mufflers and put a set of straight through glasspacks on it. The carbs on the bike are the vacumm style ones,a normal bowl with a vacumm system that accuates the piston in the carb. I'm not too used to these. What do you guys recommend for how much I should change the jetting? I was thinking put the main jets up like 2-3 sizes, but what about the rest? I dont even know if there is a needle in them things... HELP!

BTW, the cycle is FAST! thanks-darren

i think your bike may have 122 mains or so in them.if your going with a more freer flowing exhaust try going to up one size.if you eliminate the airbox and go with clamp on air filters, you'll need at least 130 mains.the carbs you got are vacuum controlled based on the demands of the engine, meaning twisting the throttle doesnt immediately open the slides, they will open as rpm increases.i have a gs 750 that i play with so i know a lil' something bout'these bikes.good luck

Damn Darren, sounds like a nice bike. How did you end up with that bike and how much did it cost you?
