March QOTM enty thread

By now you all should know the basic rules. I am going back to how I ran it in january. Only 10 people can post thier quads. I'm not doing the anyone post thier quads and I pick 10, I ran into some complications with that. So once 10 quads are posted I will make the poll. And please no nearly stock quads. For example, now 400ex's with nerfs and shock covers. This is for modded machines.

Also while the contest is called Quad of the Month, I wouldn't mind a nicely built 3 wheeler here every now and then.


The 10 contestants are in and the poll has been made no one else try to enter.

i think he meant like who would you chose, him or you, obviously you. i dont want to be mean and dont take any offense but he said no nearly stock quads. If theyres only 10 entrees i say they should be 10 modded out quads.

I am making a thread of all the rules right now, I'm gonna ask Harlwn to make it a sticky. 2 things I want to address that I forgot to mention this month that I wanted to change.

SEX- no offence to you or your quad, but this contest is for Modded quads. I let it go last time cause I was choosing the quads out of about 20.

300exrida-This actualy kinda goes for both you and sex, I mentioned something about when people could re enter. I belive I gave 3 months to people that didn't win, and winning quads would have to have significant changes untill they could be re entered.

I kindly ask you to deelete your posts on here.

no offense to the stock yfz, but the only mod on it was the pipe and the ex with snow and mud on it is just a joke, there should be a little more guidelines just my two cents, people are getting screwed!!!!:mad:

I hate to be the one to say this, but I will, since theres about 1000 other people on this site thinking it. Quads with stock arms, stock shocks, stock swinger, stock axle, motor, etc etc should not be able to enter this... punker69 and mountaineer are the only 2 nice bikes I see that would be worthy of quad of the month. figair, nice bike, the 2 guys stated above nice bikes, the 4 or 5 guys that missed out on it last month to stock 400s, nice bikes. i understand that not everyone can afford some of the things others have, but this is kind of for bragging rights in a way. IMO. Before anyone flames or responds to my comments, just a little food for thought, you dont see any stock Harleys on Biker Build Off, do you?

yea dude... didnt mean to come off cocky. it was mostly a joke. there are definitely quads out there nicer than mine. I just dont think anyone really sends stuff in for this contest. judging by previous months there really wasnt anything that crazy in the contest. there were a few good solid race quads, but most were not full blown, ready to race a national kind of quads. Im not saying im a good racer or are ever going to be able to race at a national level, but i know my quad can. That is really the only reason I said what I did about the competition. I would like to see this contest grow into something bigger than it is right now. I would like to see more people send in pics of nice *** quads. I always enjoy seeing something new and different. It gives me ideas for my next project quad and, you can always learn something new from other people. So, I encourage evryone that reads this to find people with nice quads and spread the word about atvriders.com and this contest. Everyone will benefit.

hey guys..... thanks for the replys about my quad. yea those are 9x9 hipers with mxr holeshots. great tire and wheel combo. someone said the quad looks like it sits high in the rear. it might a little bit due to the flip-top sub frame, but i think it is just the angle of the pic. someone also said something about nationals and numbers on my quad.....If you read what i wrote I said I dont race nationals therefore, I dont have a national number. I also said Im not the greatest or fastest guy out there so I wouldnt try to come off like that. Basically I just race locally in N.J., and this is also a pic of when I first built the quad in feb 04. So theres no numbers on it. If you want to see more pics of it or some other quads me and my buddies have built ,go to my site. www.trickquadfab.com you'll see my 250r, cannondale, and the red crf in the pic is my buddy nicks.
