What is the best tire for trail riding and what is the advantage of radials beside a good ride ??anydown side to radials???I really like the looks of Holeshots.Currently I have factory radials.

I think the advantage to raidals is they dont get flat spots when your quad sit(this is what I have been told about trucks anyways) after you ride or drive a little they go away though.

A good tire for the 400ex would be the new ITP Holeshot XCR's. They are great for trail-riding and are made for these high performance 4-strokes. They are a heavy-duty 6-ply (very hard to puncture) but are very light-weight (unlike most 6-ply tires). They will run you about $65.00 a tire but they are well worth it. Hope this helps... -s0

I would really recomend GBC Shredders. You can go see them by going to Rocky Mountain Atv (http://www.rockymountainatv.com) and searching for them!

A downside to radials is they really are puncture resistant you get alot of "snake bites".

I highly highly highly recommend the XCR. I have the MX on the front. Great combination. No problems riding hare scrambles with the MX. Good Luck!
