Yeah this might sound like a dumb question ... but I've always wondered . What exactly is an anti-fade hub ?? Why is it so "special" ??

it draws heat away from your rotor which keeps your rear brake from fading as mcuh

It doesnt draw that much heat into the aluminum, thats a marketing ploy... An anti-fade nut is the brake hub and the lock nut all in one, and is suppose to say tight longer, LSR has a dual pinch bolt design now, check it out.

Yeah, pretty useless. I just like it because its a stronger hold.

That's the claim but who really feels brake fade anyway??? IT's not like nascar were the rotors heat up and turn red from heat.

IT's a nice idea and product but really expensive and more for looks than anything IMO.

Your basically buying a brake rotor hub and axle nut all in one..

They speed up the whole process of removing your axle too.
