aftermarket z exhaust

I recently bought an 03 z400 for $3,800 from a guy and it has muzzy exhaust on it. I was wondering it is kinda quiet and I dont know if anyone in here knows anyone that has it and has the quiet core out of it. It is supposed to go up to 100decibles with just the canister. I would really like it to be louder. I really dont know if 100decibles is loud or not and if not what would be louder for my z thanks for any info.

100 decibals is annoying loud trust me :eek2: im sure ur quad is loud u just never heard a stock pipe probaly

Well i think the most anoying loud pipe on the market is tc for the yfz's. My buddy has one on his and man is it loud so loud that the people around where I live r complaining. They also called the cops cause of him his tc is rated for 130decibles I think its anoyin and so do most of the other people I know. So i really woulndt mind the 100decibles mine would have hey the cops have to catch me first lol oh well.

my uncle has his out and it is louder than than his old pipe and it has the spark arrestor out and his muzzy is loud and not anooyingly loud i dotn think but hey i like it loud

Just FYI no one makes a pipe for 130 DB's. It might be around 103 and that is really high. I too like the sound of the FMF Ti-4 on the Z. Nice low growl.

Well i didnt know what deible his tc was but thats what he told me he makes up alotta crap. I was thinkin of the ti4 as well u say it sounds good. I had also thought about curtis sparks or lrd but from what i hear fmf is the best for the z.

i wouldnt go with muzzy because i dont know anyone who has one but sparks is loud and the TC shorty pipe is really loud like 120db no lie. you think a curtis sparks pipe would be loud with 108db no the tc shorty is a monster omg i hate it but i love it lol. go with the curtis sparks thats the pipe im going to be gettin 459$ shipped at woodwards and the guys great person to buy from.
