Carb Problems?

I think i may be having some carb or jetting problems.. The carb makes a somewhat hissing noise when i hit the throttle.. Im not sure what it is.. The previous owner took the spark arrestor out of the stock pipe and theres a K&N with the lid on.. I could be positive that its not jetted for these things but I havent checked it.. The quad also doesnt idle which may also be involved.. Any help??

a hissing noise is probably a air leak. My guess!

We thought this too, my Carb WAS having issues (slide worn out) But I had a blown head gasket

YEah its a weird noise I never had a problem like this before.. I wish i knew how to describe it better.. Could it be harmful?
