leaking fuel?

i have a 1980-85 honda fourtrax 300 and when i put the fuel shut off valve on reserve the fuel leaks. I changed the valve, but its happening again. DOes anybody know how to fix this???

does it have dual lines. maybe you have a hole in your reserve line.

no it doesnt have dual lines. It leaks directly out of the fuel shut off valve.

it could be you are not getting a tight seal around the valve check that and glue it

My prairie leaks around the lever itself sometimes when I shut it off. I think maybe an O-ring inside or something is bad. It has did this since it was brand new. I fixed it by not shutting it off!!!
