The TRX450R was not the only machine on Honda's website to go up. Alot of motorcycle's/atv's (dirt and street) on Honda's website recieved a msrp increase of a couple of hundred bucks.

The price on Honda's web site is the MSRP "Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price". Every company has a MSRP, but all dealers come down off of that price. They dont have to if they dont want to though.

Remember MSRP can work both ways, some scummy dealerships try to charge more than MSRP (mostly on cars/trucks though), especially if it's first year, limited, or just selling very fast. But around here I've seen 450R's going for $5600-5999. One dealership that I've bought from sells Yamaha and Honda. They said the sell 3-4 YFZ's for every 450R. They don't even lower the price on the YFZ because it sells so well. But they sell the 450R's for $5799. And give a good deal on the HRC kit too. You don't have to be a rocket science major to figure out the better deal.
Sorry to get ot.

Got mine for 6 G's out the door. Don't know if that's a super sweet deal, but it worked for me. And the HRC kit + installation was $300.

You can get them from Abernathy's for $5350. Then you have to pay sales taxes. So it would end up being $5885 for me. I am going to try and talk my dealer down to $5500 for the bike. Even my local dealer is out of state so I dont have to pay sales taxes the day I buy the bike.

Well if that was the deal I should go to Michigan to get mine. There was a shop up there who had them for 5500.00 with a trailer and helmet.

There is a place in Springfield, MO that has real good deals on Hondas. I dont know the name of the place though. A friend of mine got an 03 rancher for $3500 and a 04 foreman for $4000 or so. Not sure about the price on the foreman.
