i have a 400ex and was wandering if yall would get +2's or +3's for it and what kind of arms and would a +4 axle work with both thanks

A plus 4 axle will work for both. I had +2's and have changed to +3's. What width front end you need depends on the riding you do. If you ride primarily tracks and MX then +3 is what you need no question. If youre looking for something in the middle so you can still be ok while trail riding then +2 would be better for you.

why do you say +3 no qustion.
i know the story about the +3 4/1 setup has less feedback through the bars and what not but +2 is still pritty good the average rider woudent be able to tell the difference right?

For Tracks and MX you obviously want to be as wide as you can within the legal limit. I run +3's, but not with 4-1 offset, its with stock offset. This puts me right at about 50"... Like I said, +2's are a better overall a-arms if you do other riding beside tracks...
