how to put on a seat cover?

i just got an Nstyle cover, i put the cover on just to see how it fits, and it doesnt look like it fits AT ALL. when i put the front of the seat in the pocket it doesnt go smoothly over the rest of the seat. do i just need to staple it down and pull it to the back?

any tips will be helpful!
