which swingarm bearings?

what are the pro and cons of twin row vs tapered bearings in your swingarm? What are you running and how does it work for you? Trying not to learn the lesson the $$ way. Thanks

I have only run twin row bearings, IMO the taper should be better, they last almost forever in cars tho since they have gone to roller bearings in almost every car it seems like I replace them all the time. But the guys I've talked to that have tried the tapers prefer the twin rollers better.

Tapered roller bearings are designed to take a side load, where ball type rollers are not.

Is one supposed to have less friction? Do the tapered require more setup. I guess they're like autos w/pressed in race and a bearing that needs preload set?

I raced all last season with the stock carrier no probs, And again this year I will do the same with my 05 but I won't spend the money until the stock fail..
