Does anyone have a pic of a 12 bar for a 400ex. Ive been wanting to put one on mine but i need to know what it looks like for a 400.

You'll probably see many different styles of bars. Seeing as how the stock grab bar isn't replaceable... all 12 bars I've seen are custom. Either weld on a plate or a larger round bar. Simple as that. Sorry I don't have pics.

what year 400 ?
10" piece of flat stock.. go grind a couple of 2nd gear wheelies for a couple blocks .. clamp the flat stock on the perfect angle u just made and tack her in place with a welder.. poof.. 12 bar

Thats what i did on my 300ex, works very good.

what size flat stock should i use i was thinking 3/8 but is that to thick. thanks for the reaplys.

I just add a bead of weld across my grab bar....when it wears down, just add some more weld.....
weld....grind....repeat....haha
I haven't had any subframe issues as far as bending goes or anything.
