Wheels/Tires for trail riding?

Hey guys what tire/wheel combo do you think would be good for trail riding? What type and size rim front and rear? What type of tire? Thanks

I bought ITP race series, and x-drivs tires and love them in the trails. Got 23x7x10 on front and 22x11x9 on back.

What are the trails like? If there are alot of rocks, roots or other obstacles you may want to look into some reinforced rims or bead locks or carbon fiber rims and 6 ply tires.

yeah its alot of rocks and wooded trails.. I was thinking beadlocks.. wasnt quite sure on the tire and sizes of rims tho..

check out the maxxis all trac.Ive got a set of 22s and they hook up like no other in rough terrain.Far better than my holeshot xc's

I would stick with stocker rims they seem to be the best at taking abuse for the cost. The tires I use are the kenda klaws XC, but after riding them for some time now I would most likely trade out the fronts for a set of the razr2's. The rears are good but still lacking for me. I think my next set of rears will be knarly's or ???. Have not decided yet. I will give the Kendas high marks for taking the abuse. I have gone through one rim and many hard hits to never get a hole in them yet. I just feel the need for better contrl out of the fronts in certian situations.

i have a 300ex and ride trails with some rocks but no roots or anything. i was thinking 20 inch on the back and 22 up front?

2005 EX, how did you set up your rear grab bar? which did you use? I just cant bring myself to cut and weld on a 2 month old quad. thanks

Actually I bought it off ebay. its for a 99-04 but it bolts up. I bent mine bad doing wheelies. The only thing that dont work is theres no rear brake light sending unit, but oh well. I think the grab bar is off a 450R, but not sure.
