What do you think they're worth?

I'm interested, but like you, I have no idea what these things are selling for...

brand new from service honda calipers are 80 for a set and spindles are 130 a set

4 seals per caliper $ 7 each = $28
2 sets of pads $22 each= $44
2 bleeder screws $2 each = $4
2 bleeder caps $3 each = $6
2 spring pads $6 each = $12
4 orings $2 each = $8
4 retainers $4 each= $16
4 pistons $22 each= $88
4 slider bolts $9 each= $36
2 caliper bodys $55 each =$110
2 caliper mounts $18 each=$36

and thats not even all the parts in a caliper. now if service honda is selling a complete ready to install caliper for $80 then i see your point, if not then what was your point?

look up the parts on service hondas website, 1 front caliper assembly, whole, $40.31 a piece. part numbers for left and right are 45150-hp1-006 and 45250-hp1-006

Many times Honda will sell something as an assembly for much less than the cost of the components themselves. Another good example is a 250R tie rod assembly. You can get two ends, tie rod and the jam nuts for a little more than one tie rod end will costs. I believe this is mainly a feature for dealer service departments to use to make more money on parts, since most people don't know about the better price on assemblies.

well if that is the case with the caliper, then why dont you order a set for $80 and be done with it?

as you can see i didnt have an asking price, i simply declined the offer that was made. if you dont like it that is fine, i suggest you get the credit card out and place an order for a new $45 caliper because i will be hanging on to these for parts seeing you can buy them so cheap complete and ready to install:chinese:

I wasnt trying to be an *****, the question was asked as to how much these were new, i was just answering TORO1968's question. No offence to you pappy, you didnt wanna sell em for that price and i respected your decision, I am sorry if I came off a different way, my apologies. The reason I wanted to buy the ones from you was because the calipers are backordered from honda right now and have no idea how long it will be. Sorry again if i offended you, that wasnt the intent.
