weak spark

last time I rode my 250r it ran perfect,drove it off the trailer into the barn and parked it for about 2 months. then it wouldn't start, I had very little spark. I tried a stator and cdi from a different R still no spark. does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks Jim

Did you try a different coil also? I would also just the wiring connectors and the condition of the wiring. I haven't had the problem myself but I have read on other posts where there is high resistance in the connections or even the wiring itself. Our R's arn't getting any newer

Use an ohm meter to make sure the componet are good and check the ground/frame connection.Also any kill switches that you have.These thingsdont have the best ignition system so everything has to be in good shape.
