i have a 2002 400ex, and i need to tighten it? how do i? thanks for any help
Loosen the four allen bolts at the rear of the swing arm
Instert a large screwdriver or similar object in one of the slots of the bearing carrier (between the swingarm and sprocket).
Rotate carrier up or down to adjust, I don't remember which way does what at the moment.
Do not apply too much force, I have heard of people breaking off pieces of the carrier.

It starts chewing up the holes if you dont use something that fits in tightly. I use an allen and it works really good.

Down = Tighten
Up = Loosen
You want to leave about 1 3/8 inches of chain slack. Also, have someone sit on the quad about your weight to get fairly exact measurements.
Hope I helped, Ryan
Don't forget to tighten the allen bolts when you're done!:D
