just wanted to know if u guys think its a weak point when im out jumpin on the track? Is it somthen to worry about and if so how should i go about fixing it. I also had a question about gusseting, when would this be nessasary, at what size of jumps would a gussetd frame be nessasary. Anyone have pics of their gussested frame? experiences in which they WISH they gussested it and have cracks or stress points?

If thats on the bottom of the frame, i wouldnt worry about it. On my old 440 it had a few real good dents from trail riding on the bottom of the frame and held up fine on a mx track.

I just thought of something else if you was really worried about it, strip the quad, find a hole in the frame and plug all the holes up, fill it up with water, put it in a freezer for a day or so, then unthaw it. Really way too much work for a small ding like that but if you wanted to fix it that would be the best way in my eyes. Hope i helped. ;)

LMAO, dude, i'd like to think you're joking but it's pretty evident that you were serious.

Why wouldnt it work? I do it to metal pipes and stuff if they are dinged or dented.

I don't think thats from jumping. Looks like it could be from a rock or something like that, i wouldn't worry about it. It isn't even that big anyway. :macho
