i hope this sign is more for kicks than seriousness, because if your employs fear for their jobs their performance will be terrible.

technicalities....
haha, no im serious though, we just learned about this the other day in class, if you go by "the business handbook" any employee who fears job security will not be as productive as a worker who has job security.

If you worked with any 1 of the guys in my warehouse, you would know that they take nothing serious.it is just a joke,I would never do anything to influence my employees to do less than required.I am out there doing just as much as them. That is their motivation, and mine.

I try not to be too serious with my employees , but they all know they have to pull their own weight around the store . I do not tolerate having a slacker amungst the bunch . Employees that go out of their way to improve the store get rewarded .... those that do nothing get the axe.
But I'm fairly lucky .... I help manage a team of 11 people ... My Boss and a full timer are the only ones over the age of 35 .... the rest range from 17-25 ... and we all have a passion for motorsports .
Can get pretty tough during the sumemr though , when I got 6 employees that are asking for the weekends off to go Motocross Racing !!! :p
