Lurch, that is one cool lookin' machine. It's different, but why ceramic coat.I had my head pipe coated for heat reasons but will pc other parts.:)

The reason is simple. MONEY...or lack there of. I wanted something that had a shine to it but different than I had before. It will definately be more upkeep than chroming, but it saved me over $200 by coating it with PC. It's actually ceramic coating.

Thanks! I can't wait until I get it finished. I'm HOPEFULLY going to order my Elka's in a few weeks. I keep having to put it back due to bills coming up. The motor is going to Four Stroke Tech (http://www.fourstroketech.net) next month for a stroker crank and rebuild. Plus I have a 37mm FCR carb for it. This thing is going to rip!

love that color bro, sweet setup you got there, what kinda arms are those they look huge!! what kinda pipe you running to?white brothers?

Lurch

Thanks guys. The a-arms are the only thing left from a one year R&D Sponsorship from IdahoATV.com (which is closed) and Pro Performance in Idaho. Before we could get them perfected to release to the public the owner of IdahoATV was diagnosed with cancer and left the business QUICK to focus on treatment.

I will be running a White Brothers racing exhaust (I believe) and a customer FST head-pipe.

OMG! That is without a doubt, the nicest mojave i've ever seen! I'm looking to accomplish something like that with my 300ex in the near future, i'd like to race really bad. You have any more pictures of it? Any action shots would be awesome too!

I hate to break it to ya but thats no National quad, unless you going to run it in the open class or another 4-stroke class. Cause you can't be over 300cc's or be water cooled to run youth production. Nice quad tho. :)

You hate to break it to me? Now, I'm not going to slam anyone here, but I have raced this Mojave at the nationals and did ok for a 330cc 400lbs Mojave. 10 years ago when the biggest 4-stroke was a warrior this Mojave would be a pro level quad. BUT that was another day. Jackie Meadows to my Mojave for a spin at Loretta's and said that he wished he had a Mojave as trick as this one when he raced for Team Green in the late 80's -early 90's.

Either way, I will be racing it at the Nationals. Consider it the story of the underdog. :D

I have been working with the powdercoater, American Supercars Unlimited (http://www.americansupercarsunlimited.com), on some promotional stuff like a dicount for forum members.

I'll call Doug Rogers the owner today and see if he is willing to offer a 10% discount on powder and ceramic coating.

We have been procrastinating for over a year now on PC'ing mine but when you race all year and go on duning trips ect. Its hard to find the time to tear it down.... :p I think that would look good with my silver/orange/black EX. Do they have any orange with say........... Silver flake ??

I had a 2000 Kawasaki Mojave with a sweet motor, pushing around 30 horse. The frame is more or less all stock because I could not afford to mess with it.

I race MX in Galion Ohio, www.sunsetramblers.com and won the 2004 small bore mx series on a mojave.

My brother now races in flat track.
It has the GREEN stock plastic, daurablue wheel spacers and is lowered ALOT. its pretty sweet.

Check results troughout the season
On top will be of Flat Track should be
SMALL BORE- #11-Kawasaki Mojave
BIG BORE- #530 HONDA 400ex

i cant wait to get my mojave done....it has custom +3+1 a-arms, and is lowered 2" all the way around, with a custom 250r shock custom mounted on the swingarm....also it is powered by a built katana 600 motor...it isnt cobbled together either, it is really nice, and i plan on racing just exhibition oval track type stuff around here with it... i will post some pics somewhere n here in a couple weeks once the snow melts...

Lurch: In youre sig it says that you have +6+1 A-arms, does Pro Performance have a web site, and if so what is it??

Lurch
03-11-2005, 01:17 PM
I lost touch with the guys well about two years ago. I think the a-arms I have were the last set made for Idaho ATV. There is a guy with the screen name 'seven' that knows the guys. PM him and see if he can give you a number.

That is one awsome mojave Lurch!:D

Lurch

Thanks for the compliments! The rebuild is due to some damage from Loretta Lynn's in 2003 and also just needed to be freshened up with bearings and seals. The powdercoat was due to gettign a new frame.
