I was just wondering if anyone has used any front disc brake kits for the rancher or has any suggestions about them -- I need to decide whether to overhaul my drums or try something new -- thanx

the drums dont seem to bad on a rancher. never used anything else on one. but i think highlifter makes a set of disk brakes and thy seem to always have good quality stuff

I just think the drums may fill back up with mud and water again the way I usually ride.... so i'll probably just order them because the honda dealer can get them for me for less than on the internet. Highlifter seems to be a good quality brand too. thanks for the feedback though

I have a Rancher and I love it, I hate their drum brakes. If you drive in alot of mud and water like I do you brakes are pobably shot and squeak and make noises. If you want to spend some $$$ Highlifter makes a disk brake kit for all honda 4x4's. Here's a link http://www.highlifter.com/store/catalogdiscbrake.html

I don't have them but my friend does and he has had no problems yet. He says they are way better than stock.

A friend of mine has them on his 450 Foreman. One of the funniest things i have ever seen, a lifted foreman with 28'' outlaws skiding down the trail with the tires completely locked up. They work totally awesome.
