450r stock carb

[400EX QUADER]

If I wanna get a 450r stock carb for my 400ex would I need it to come with a throttle cable? What's the difference between the 400ex and the 450r cable? Also is the 450r stock carb 42mm?

I don't think you can run the 450r carb on the 400ex.

I've heard of it. Don't know about the cable but I heard that you have to boil your EX rubber intake to get it to fit over the carb. I hear it's a good mod though.

I heard it couldn't work because of the hotstart. I guess that wouldn't matter though.

Go to TRX450R.org and do a serch on it aguy did it on his. I think you need to cange the throttle cable and you can't use the choke
