reinforceing rings

ok recently I purchased some kenda klaw mx tires and they came with free .125 rims...and i dont want to spend extra for .190s so can I get someone i know whos really good at fabricateing to weld some reinforceing rings on these rims?

I wouldnt bother, the midle part that bolts to the hub is still thin and you would just bend that section instead. And by the time you buy the rings and pay some one to weld them in if you cant do it yourself, its just cheaper to buy them on wheels installed.

its my moms firends husband and he can fab the rings and weld them in...

Check with Burrows (do a name search) they can help you out, 25 bucks a rim I think.. Z.
