Will the starter still work with a compression ratio of 11:1 on a 300ex?

If your talking about a Wiseco 11:1 with a standard bore, then yes it will work. There are quite a few guys with that piston. I have a 330 kit with an 11:1 JE and the starter is a slower than it used to be but it could probably use a fresh rebuild. With that said, it still has started everytime I've used it, you can just tell the starter is under more of a load. So just make sure your battery is in good condition and you should be alright.

I use to run 11:1 and my starter had no problems.

I have basically the same 330 kit as Aceman, and I agree 100%. It is noticablly slower, but it still cranks it over. The only problem I have had is with my sylonoid and that was just because it got wet, i think.
