DS650's, What do you think of em

personally i think they are the uglyiest quads ever made. But once again that is just my opinion so....... What do you guys think

The reason i ask is because my friend just got one and he keeps saying that he will blow away any kfx,z.400ex.450r, or yfz and i think he is full of $hit of course.

My buddy also wants one of them. He's says they have the most HP stock off the show room floor. And if he builds the motor it will smoke my 450R. Good luck to him shaving 150lbs of that tank.

It won't beat the 400's or 450's off the start but after you're pinned in fifth the DS just keeps pulling away...

He used to be like that...but then he got to ride a 450r and he went from working at a Bombardier shop to a Honda one!

I find they are a big piece of **** and look like crap but bombardier is coming out with a new 450 the worldwide premiere will be in Mexico on February 13 I think, there will be pics on the net, I cant wait to see what it looks like!:blah: :devil: :eek2: :o :p :D :)

I miss my DS kinda, it was comfortable, fast, and the suspension was awesome. It's not the best looking thing out there, but it doesnt look horrible, still like it better than a stock 450R looks wise. Also DS may be heavy as a tank, but the are just as if not more durable than 90% of the Hondas out there. We'll see about that DS450, I heard that rumor last year too.

I just think if its a 450 they would want it too compete with the other 450s, so why not show it at the 12 or 6 hour (Can't remember which) race Sunday?

im either getting a 400ex or ds 650 for a practice quad to ride w hen im not racing and stuff more looking for a cheap 400ex they go from 1800-3000 here

im a big dude so i was told they would ride better and more stable. bomb makes quality stuff, look at the traxter maxx 2up , i drove one of them and the quality is definately there, bomb has lots of bells and whistles stock too.....

well before i got my 450R i rode my freinds dads ds650. It had some nice toped end. but it wouldnt be good for a guy my size im about 5' 9" and hes about 6' 2" ish lol. and he also is like 200 pounds and im about 140. Supsension on both is good. he flipped his quad lol. basically bigger guy may need bigger quads.

Uglyiest quad without question but it has it's place, trails and baja (desert racing).

They are by far the most comfortable quad I've ever rode. Tons of torque and power, but thats about it. In a short drag they get smoked by about anything, and they are way way to heavy. They also dont crash well, I have seen two that were crashed. Both were next to totaled, on something a 300ex would have only had bent bars and mabey cracked plastic.
