im looking to replace my stock 400ex shocks and have found a few sets of good works triple rate shocks that came off a 250r.
i used search and the general concensus was that they will work fine. a few people mentioned the valving may be differenet or something along those lines. my question is, will they bolt right up and work fine? when you buy aftermarket shocks for a 250r or 400ex, do they send you the exact same shock?
also, if i have to have them rebuilt for my riding weight, how much does that usually run? and i better off just buying a new set thats set up for me? oh, one last thing. how often would i have to rebuild a set of, lets say, works triple rates w/o rezzies? i ride agressive trails, but usually 1 or 2 times on the weekends.
