Boy did i get screwed.

i just drove 600 miles today to get my frame pc'ed. "the only place around here to do it is 300 miles away" (i live in montana) but anyway, i was talking to them on the phone, $180 for frame,and swingarm.and $20 for motor mounts, heat sheild, clutch cover, and $30 for sandblasting.$230 right ..WRONG get down there they tryed charging me $485 "uhha no not happen" and then they were tring to charge me $185 for the powder i wanted. "i can order the same fricking thing for $20 ,,, so anyways i left my frame and swingarm and $285 and didn't get the color i wanted, and have to go pick it up in a week,.,,,

yah they whanted $160 for shipping though

if you dont box it up and just bubble wrap all around it it only cost like $40 to ship it UPS

yeah, bubble wrap, and a big cardboard box, and it should only cost you about 50 at the most. i sent my motor to NMOTION in a box built out of 2x4's, it weighed 135lbs, and i only payed 78.00 ups with 3500.00 insurance on it.

weight isnt the issue with shipping, its the oversize cost that add up. i have shipped to the west coast for less the $50

man that does suck, 600 miles is a long haul to not get what you were after. I think i would pay shipping next time and let pappy work his magic.

id say $350 and that would cover shipping both ways. frame and sub are $175 ~$225 depending on the color. you would have the return shipping on the frame of approx. $52 and the sub $21
