i had posted about this awhile back and anyway i saw a utility with some cleared fenders on camo and it was about 3 yrs old and looked brand new and i was amazed so i decided to try it out one of my friends sprays cars so he did it for me, its black oem honda fenders cleared 4 times then on the last coat he added a royal blue pearl its hard to see the blue b/c they are so reflective ill have more pics when i get the bike back together
so what do uguys think?

i was showing the tank to a guy at a local shop and some kid and his dad came in and said nice tank is that off an R1 or a CBR, i was like a 450R and they both looked confused and left,

what kind of clear coar is it? do you think it will hold up to fenders flexing and bending?

waiting on my frame ive had these for about a month just forgot to post them,

yes they are clear coated like a car he out a lot of the flex in it, i got a friend who had it done on a praire and the fenders are over 3 yrs old and it looks brand new still, and he mud rides in swamps alot and all the mud would be like sand paper on the clear so it was holding up real well, so my friend did these for me so it didnt cost much so i said why not and tried it

it should hold from the flexxing and bending its the rolling and flipping that wouldprb break the clear, he told me its going to look great until u roll it and then if it cracks it wll look bad, but i dont wreck much so under normal circumstances by the time i wreck the black would done look like crap anyway, so if this doesnt work out right i got some new red honda fenders for back up and a white ims tank or im going to go with some white aftermarket plastic, i just wanted to try this and see how it worked

I remember talking to you about clearcoating the fenders. Wow that looks good. That would be cool to get all graphics and stickers on and then try clear coating it.

well im not going to put any stickers on it on top of the fenders in going to sticker the shrouds and under then fenders and thats about it i dont want to hide the pearl

I'm very curious to see how the clearcoat holds up on the tank. If we have all those problems with graphics kits bubbling, ect, whats going to happen to clearcoat?

I have my tank off now and I would also like to know how the clear is holding up with gas in it, I'm thinking about this or the IMS clear tank, the extra gas would be great, please let us know.

yeah the gas spilling on the tank would not be good for the clear i went and got me a nice VP gas can, anyway when ever it goes backtogether i will let u guys know, pappy has my frame fixed and its going to the blaster right now, so i will have it back soon
