How much for 02 CRF 450 motor?

i may have an 02 crf in my hands soon, and was wanting to part it out, but was wondering what the motor would most likely sell for as a whole ( motor, wiring, etc) thanks , Jason

For the motor, carb electric you should should get at least 2000.

I'm in the process of parting a crf450 right now and stuff seams to be selling pretty good.

are you still interested in the motor?? i am pretty sure that i should be getting that bike, so i will most def have a motor if you want it... the bike was never raced and is in great shape... so shoot me an offer on just the motor, or whatever else you would want with it..thanks

Nah, I would love to buy the engine and everything needed to do a conversion, but money is extremely tight right now. It sucks because I have been watching for these kinds of engines on eBay for a long time and could never find one close enough or a good enough deal.

go with the yz motor,they are A LOT more reliable than the early(and later)crfs.the valves do not go out of adjustment anywhere near as fast as a crf.i love hondas but thats just how it is.a 02 crf motor complete would get 1400 or so.anymore and theres a sucker born every minute.:chinese:
